Prologue to Farm Country Tales

Imagine an era
that’s diff’rent from now,
When times were not better,
but pleasing, somehow.
It’s the year 1950,
when farming was done
By Mother and Father
and Daughter and Son.

What is an Event?

All events are Farm Heritage Presentations that aim to pass on our farm heritage in an entertaining way, with humor, love, and accuracy.

Gift shops and Bookstores

An event can be a book-signing at a gift shop or bookstore or a free performance if the facility is set up for having an audience.

Schools, Museums, Historical Societies, Banquests, Clubs

An event can be one 45-55 minute show for adults or several free 30-40 minute performances for schools where the author includes an introduction with props from the farm, a prologue, and a reading of the book as the illustrated pages are projected onto a large screen. During the performance the author wears the traditional costume of a farmer in 1950 as he recites one of his books and tells other stories. The performances are geared to the age of the specific audiences and are meant to entertain, teach, and inspire all ages.
